Peter Fretwell is Appointed as a Director of the PPSA

Peter Fretwell, of Pipeline Engineering, has been appointed as a Director of the PPSA (Pipeline Pigging & Services Association). Following his nomination and acceptance, Peter took up this position at the PPSA Annual General Meeting held in Houston on 12th February 2008.
Peter Fretwell is the Pigging Specialist for Pipeline Engineering and has spent over 35 years in the pipeline pigging and flow assurance industry. During this time he has worked for a number of pigging companies providing clients with both commercial and technical support worldwide.
With Peters knowledge, expertise and experience, both the PPSA and industry will benefit enormously from this appointment.
The PPSA was formed in 1990 and has over 80 members representing the whole of the pigging industry worldwide. Its main role is to promote pipeline pigging and related products and services.
Peter has accepted this Directorship for a two year term and during this time will offer leadership and guidance to other members, review papers and presentations submitted for PPSA seminars/conferences, be involved in the assessment and approval of all new member applications and promote the benefits of the PPSA to industry generally.
Pipeline Engineering is a member of the PPSA and has supported the PPSA for many years, with our Managing Director, Willy Watson, being a former Director. Willy Watson commented, We are delighted to support Peter in his appointment which is further evidence of our commitment in providing total support to customers and the industry regarding all aspects of pipeline pigging and flow assurance.
